Village Representative

Sudhakeertha is 38 years old, and she is the first female Village Representative of four of the six villages on Edurumondi, one of the remote islands in the estuary of the river Krishna. ASSIST has been working on the development of this area for several years, with great results.

In 2021 Sudhakeertha was democratically elected by the people of all four villages and she’s passionate about her job! What she likes most about being the Village Representative? To continue working on the development of her villages in all aspects, with a focus on education, medical care and health in general.
